1. Vengeance- Has a deep and consuming hatred of those who created him and betrayed him. Will stop at nothing to see their demise.
2. Boredom- Really has nothing better to do than climb the tower.
3. The Top- Despite his skeptical views, Agito is also incredibly curious and enticed by the tales of the Top of the Tower.

Personality:
Agito Izaya is a man who revels in the stress and anguish offered to him by the tests of the Tower. He is a nihilist, who believes that life is meaningless and that all living things are eternally trapped in a futile mission to attribute meaning to their lives. Despite this, he acknowledges that he is also trapped, and thus continues to climb the tower or die trying. In close quarters, Agito is a fast and quiet talker and a quick liar. He doesn't resist the urge to take shots at people he's only just met, is always critical of others, and remains calm and composed under the most violent of circumstances. Agito prefers not to get his hands dirty and will use all tools and tricks to remove any obstacles. Despite his professed nihilism, Agito is very envious of those who can carry on through life happily and normally, and says that of all the people he's met, he hates himself the most.
Character's History:
Agito Izaya was created, not born, to the House of Izaya to become a valuable weapon against the enemies of the family. He was engineered with dulled emotions and an extremely sharp mind, intended to be raised as an infiltrator and a spy. He was implanted with memories of his time with the family in order to assure his loyalty. However, his devotion, genetic gifts, and pure focus allowed him to quickly surpass all expectations and he began rising through the ranks. This was greatly alarming to other members of the family who moved quickly to dispose of him.
This betrayal, along with the concurrent discovery of exactly who and what he was and that his memories had been faked, broke Agito mentally. He was driven past insanity and he slaughtered several high-ranking members of the family. Faced with these crimes, Agito was exiled and branded a traitor and a rebel. His calm and expressionless face and his unblinking, unnerving eyes in the face of the most chaotic environments earned him the alias "Eyes of Chaos."
For a long time, Agito simply brooded over the his state, as he slowly pieced his mind back together. The engineered memories of his time with the family were still there, though he knew they were fake. He became addicted to the rush and intensity of battle, taking every chance he could to create more discord. Once he finally came to terms with his existence, he immediately began climbing the tower, hoping to fill the void that had opened in his mind. He is still unstable at times, lapsing into maniacal laughter and other fits of insanity.
